Sara Lamb and Deb Menz have combined their many years' experience dyeing fibers and yarns in this two volume set of samples for dyers using Lanaset dyes. Actual yarn samples, mounted next to their formulas, give the new or experienced dyer a look at the many ways color can be combined for personalized dyeing and to create a personal palette of colors for any fiber worker. Volume 1 introduces each color and the two color gradations from them, Volume 2 introduces more complex colors, mixing 3, 4 or 5 colors in a variety of concentrations. Instruction is included in how to use the dyes and how to best use the information in the book.
